Figure Skating Resumes

Based on further clarification from the Province and Skate Canada, the City of Edmonton has reinstated our ice time at Kenilworth Arena from December 5-19, 2020. This applies only to our figure skating programs. 

The following restrictions are now in place for our programs:

• only 10 people permitted on the ice including coaches
• 2 meter physical distancing must be maintained at all times
• individual instruction only
• dressing rooms closed
• skaters encouraged to arrive with skates on (if deemed safe due to snow and ice) but are permitted to put on skates on in the stands, being sure to physically distance and spread way out. Please bring minimal personal belongings to the arena.
• no spectators are permitted, but parents/guardians with younger skaters are permitted to briefly assist their skater with their skates at the beginning and end of the session, however arriving with skates on is encouraged (if deemed safe due to snow and ice).
• skaters must enter ice at the main doors, and exit the ice at the doors at the back of the rink by the boxes
